Enjoying the views and unique architecture in Downtown Portsmouth!

Now that autumn is officially coming to an end and I have a little down time, I thought I’d relive some of my favorite fall memories. I love living in New England mainly because we get spoiled with the beauty of all the changing seasons here. Fall is such a magical time especially with the vivid and brilliant colors displayed on the deciduous trees. What better way to celebrate autumn than with Restaurant Week in Portsmouth, NH? Great views and delicious food, a girl can’t complain!

Last month I was invited to this charming coastal town along with my blogging babes for a lovely staycation at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel. It’s conveniently located downtown and within walking distance to the historic Harbour Trail, retail shopping, fine dining, museums, breweries, and endless sight seeing. We adored the allure of the local town and not to mention the wonderful people we encountered along the way.

Travel essentials…there’s plenty of sight seeing to do here, so don’t forget to capture the moment! 😉 Oh, and comfy shoes are a must to navigate through the cobblestones.

Colby’s Breakfast & Lunch for the win! The portions are huge and well worth it.

Mouth watering goodness! If you tilt your head slightly, my breakfast looks like Elmo’s face. Haha! I highly recommend grabbing scrumptious breakfast here. Don’t worry about the calories, you can walk it off while exploring!

I purchased my pom pom fur beanie hat at Lit Boutique. What can I say? I’m a woman of many hats! I love their stylish selection of clothing and accessories. I always receive a ton of compliments when I wear it. Definitely make a pit stop here and get your fashion fix!

Little details make a big difference…

The wine at Rudi’s was so crisp and comforting on the cool fall night, (they have a great selection to choose from), the company and ambiance made it even better! We had some light bites and headed back to the hotel for some more grub straight off the Restaurant Week Menu!

Located right inside the Sheraton Portsmouth, enjoy delectable dishes from Chef Brandon and the awesome crew at Two-Fifty Market! Their clam chowder won best of New England, and it was divine.

Portsmouth was ranked one of the top ten small food scenes by USA Today! I can see why, the food is delicious and fresh here. It’s sure to please even the pickiest palette!

The braised short ribs definitely hit the spot!

The warm apple crisp was the perfect way to end the night!

I went to bed with a full and happy stomach and woke up with a smile! Yes, great food makes me that happy! 🙂

I can’t wait to explore Portsmouth some more during the summertime with my girls when it gets warmer. I can enjoy eating outdoors at the many fine establishments with their open decks and stroll leisurely while catching the summer sunset. I’m getting excited thinking about it! There’s something for everyone there. It truly is a magical little town with so much character. I’m certain it’s just as gorgeous with the holiday festivities at this time of year!
