Happy Spring, loves! What better way to celebrate and kick off the new season than with a little mini getaway?
Staycations are so necessary sometimes especially when you want to recharge, regroup, and everything is under one roof. I was extended an invitation to the beautifully renovated Hilton Boston Woburn, which is a short twenty minute drive from Logan Airport. Driving was a breeze with plenty of free parking on site. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to the nearby commuter rail station if you wish to explore Boston and its many attractions at your leisure. The location could not be more ideal with Woburn Mall being minutes away! Such a girl thing to say…Haha! There is something for everyone here from historical attractions, Cummings Park Business Center, beaches, and extracurricular activities such as golf and tennis if you wish to venture out and about.
In my opinion, the main attraction was the mesmerizing interior of the hotel, WOW!, so swanky and sophisticated without being pretentious. As I ogled my way through the lobby in awe with my sister we were greeted with a warm smile from the friendly staff. Checking in was fast and efficient.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with yummy cocktails at the stunning modern tapas restaurant, Matadora. Our bartender, Joel, was personable and a whiz at the bar! I requested a Cape Codder and he tailored it to my preference by adding a light refreshing twist to a classic.
The decor at Matadora is breathtaking! It is sexy, bold, and vibrant with rich hues. The open space concept and the mesmerizing matador murals made for the perfect ambiance. If you prefer more privacy there is a private dining area for larger parties and special occasions. In the warmer months you can opt to sit outside at their patio with the fancy fire pit going.
You will not go hungry here during your stay since there are two dining options on site. Get your grub on!
No details missed! I love the modern and retro vibes here! Did you know a railroad used to run through the town where the hotel is nestled in? You can see remnants of the replicated railroad tickets and photos displayed on the walls, chairs, and all throughout the hotel. Preserving the history and incorporating it in the hotel decor adds such a unique and special charm!
We had dinner around the area and decided to stay in and catch up with some ZzZz’s. Sleep is such a luxury with our busy schedule!
Our hotel room was gorgeous, clean, and spacious with a balcony overlooking the indoor pool. It was a beautiful and sunny Saturday morning. I sat on the balcony and enjoyed the natural light beaming from the atrium. I was relaxed and it truly felt like I was on a tropical retreat somewhere in the states! We ordered room service and got lunch since we wanted something light and convenient before our anticipated dinner.
We spent the rest of the afternoon taking photos and scoping out the lovely and luxe property. Every corner you turn is a photo-op and there is no shortage of entertainment here!
How sleek and modern is the business center? It’s the perfect space to unwind or catch up with e-mails and settle in from the madness of the day.
Fancy yourself with a cocktail and some light bites at the Rivet Room, shoot pool, or hang poolside at the heated indoor pool.
The tasty tapas and the steak entree was divine paired with the red sangria. If you’re concerned about consuming too many calories, don’t fret! There’s a 24 hour gym here too! They’ve got you covered! Haha! I slept like a baby that night. All was well in the world! ๐
Overall, I could not ask for a more enjoyable stay. I felt so recharged and relaxed after my weekend stay here. The accommodating staff, the stunning and clean space, and the incredible eats at Matadora made everything worth it.ย Whether you are here for business, recreation, or need a place to unwind from the hustle and bustle – you will not be disappointed! Do yourself a favor and book a stay today!
