Island Vibin’
This dreary weather in Boston is certainly making me miss the Caribbean even more! Can I please put my winter wardrobe away already, Mother Nature?! Let’s take a trip down memory lane and conjure up some warm type of feels. Haha. I cannot believe my St. Croix trip was a month ago; time certainly has wings! I love the laid back lifestyle of the charming island and the effortless attire. What can I say? I’m just an island girl at heart.
Single in the City
NYC, it was great to be back! I love the endless energy and electric vibes. This city certainly lives up to its name! I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of “How to be Single,” in SoHo last week. Huge thank you to Pur Cosmetics and Warner Brothers. It was a surreal experience being surrounded by the beautiful stars on the Red Carpet and during the preview of the movie under one roof! I thoroughly enjoyed the premiere, and getting dolled up was just as fun at the gorgeous Nomo Soho!
Pretty in Pink
Ah, love is in the air and so is this brutal New England chill! I’ll admit it, I love the cold sometimes because it allows me to get creative with the layering and it enables me to cozy up. I normally gravitate towards my go to monochromatic palette because it’s bold yet simple, but I thought I’d add little pop of pink to my wardrobe to soften up my look. I can honestly say, I’m warming up a little more to the blush tones. After all, Valentine’s Day and spring is looming around the corner. It’s time to liven up my look!
Utilitarian Sophistication
Winter is finally here in full force! Oh, how I envy the lucky bloggers who live in the warmer climates, I wish you all can feel my pain. Lol jk…Braving the cold front it is, for the love of blogging! The best way to combat this frigid cold is to layer, layer, layer! It is possible to stay comfy and warm without compromising your style.
Snowman New York
Happy New Year my fashion savvy, sistahs! What better way to embrace the new year than with new outerwear?! I know it can be tedious finding a jacket that fits, functions, and is fashionable. Have no fear, keeping warm and looking cool is effortless when you’re rocking Snowman New York in the frigid winter months.
Strolling in Style
I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays with their loved ones! I can’t believe this year is winding down and coming to an abrupt wrap. It has been an exciting and eventful year. To top it off, Boston has been experiencing an unseasonably warm fall/winter. I am not complaining; I wish it was like this all winter in New England. I had to take advantage of the weather over the weekend and squeeze in an outfit post for y’all! That’s my gift to you. lol
Back to the Basics
You can’t go wrong with a monochromatic palette. I love how black is such a strong and sleek color and white is the neutral that adds that softness and an extra pop to any ensemble. The colors vibe so harmoniously together and makes you look so polished! It’s the best of both worlds, really. I rocked this look for brunch recently and I felt so chic and put together, you know, casual with a little kick!
Ogawa Coffee
There’s nothing more inviting than the lingering sweet aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the air, especially in the morning. Yes, inhale all that goodness into your soul. You can call me a caffeine fiend, I have no shame! So naturally when I stepped foot inside Ogawa Coffee, I was at home…or you can accurately say, in heaven! I’m sure a few of my Boston bloggers can vouch for me also. The Japanese take their coffee and craft very seriously. Seeing, (and tasting), is believing! ?
Military Chic
Happy December, Lovies! I know, I can’t believe it either! The chill is in the air, you’re trying to lose those lbs. post Thanksgiving, and you feel like a stuffed sausage underneath all those thick layers! Have no fear, my fashion savvy army. I’ve got the perfect layering combo to combat the cold, pun intended! ?
